Best Gmat Tutor
Be a Better Tutor or Teacher: Be on the Same Side (2 of 6)
Likely to graduate school?
I am attending CSUB, CA local state university, double concentration in Accounting and Finance. My current average is 3.88 and my GMAT score is 570. I plan to retake the GMAT after some tutoring. I have completed a summer internship program, a local accounting firm and work part time for tax season. I am vice president of the Association of Accounting University and a member of the Financial Management Association. How difficult would to be accepted into graduate schools, such as UCI, USC or Pepperdine? Or what are the chances? Could someone from a shitty school into a great school? I could not go to school of my choice by parents and family obligations. Is there hope?
Retake the GMAT so that you have a score more high - to help you get into a better school. Also, visit the websites of the schools you are interested, try to reach the average score of the GMAT. You have a great GPA and a lot of good experiences, which help a lot. Finally look at the program you want, MBA usually want a couple of years of experience work, but if you want a master of science or a doctorate does not matter.
Does anyone know of any tutors in the math section of the GMAT. I live in Palm Harbor, FL.?
Websites to see or someones email address. Anything.
From my experience, the math section is not just a simple review of the basic math concepts, but are not concepts I had not seen since high school (relations, functions!). Beyond that, however, the fact that is GMAT concepts from high school is not preventing a test well under way (and I say that as someone who did quite well). The questions on the adequacy of data, example, are unlike anything I had seen in high school or college math. For the latter, the proof is in the efficiency of the approach. When I was preparing for the GMAT, Powerscore went with the recommendation of a friend, and found it very useful. His weekend courses cover all major concepts, from the base, and have proposals that are understandable and effective. After a little practice, I felt completely prepared, and safe (which is probably half of the battle). Finished with a 770! and got into my first choice for the B-school. (maybe check out their classes)
