So You Want to Know How To Get Into Grad School in Psychology
To be admitted to graduate school is not exactly quantum physics, but not a successful science students continue to prevent its application to stop at the pile of rejection. If you're applying to graduate school in psychology, the more likely you are familiar with these words: Smart, intelligent, stellar, and exceptional, and hey, maybe even the fortune that has been enough to have been called a nerd for once or twice. Trust me, okay. I've heard the same thing more than once myself. Or maybe you're not exactly used to the child "intelligent" treatment. Maybe you just have a natural talent and passion for advising others - and being a psychologist is his dream.
There is a point in all this, that is, no matter what you've developed an interest in graduate school, your application will be one of hundreds of competing for a spot in the first year rookie team students. Lucky for you there is a method for creating an application package that stands out from the competition and earned the seal of approval by the admissions committee. The key is to know the tips and strategies to show that you could be the greatest psychologist ever as a result of their training.
I wonder how I know. Just a few years ago I was in your shoes. I had done well to study psychology and knew I wanted to apply to graduate school. I had great grades. I work pretty good on the GRE. I would be a shoo-in. Wrong. At the time, I knew very little about how to assemble a large application package. I had to apply three different times - each while learning more key than the last - before I got my acceptance letter first. Grades in the same, same GRE scores. And I won admission one of the top graduate programs in psychology. Even earned a Ph.D. Not bad.
Just because I had no idea that does not mean you have be. In that spirit, I created this site to cover the entire need for information about how earning the graduate program of your choice. Time ago when he could only have dreamed of having all this information accessible in my hands, much less someone at the other end of a wireless connection to answer my questions about graduate school. (OK, so it was not exactly the request of the graduate school of the Dark Ages, but you understand.) If it's your choice to earn a master, Psy.D., or doctorate, there's no reason you should not get your very own acceptance letter, while you are armed with information correct.
