What is the minimum required GPA for admission into an MBA program?

I have a degree in accounting and professional work experience over 8 years. I am considering applying for admission to an MBA program. My Rating GMAT is 717. The problem is that my grade average is not very impressive, I graduated with only a 2.6 GPA. Will my GPA be an automatic disqualifier?

Scott, The conclusion is that not get in the HBS or Colombia but still have a chance of Tuck, Stern, and even at Wharton. Most people applying for an MBA have less than 4 years of work experience should seize this moment and personal growth shown on your GMAT score. Couple this with good letters of recommendation and the trial could seal the deal. You can not overemphasize enough to meet with counselors in person and make them see beyond the numbers and then letters is generally used for independent students. The network here is you have to do more leg work to make up your GPA, but has as good shot entering as anyone else if you do. Also, if parents contribute to the alumni does not hurt your chances either ....
