Goldman Sachs Careers

What life is like for someone who works for an investment bank?
I only see it as a career option. What is the life and work for someone who works for Goldman Sachs, or BearStearns or JPMorganChase, so hours? What else? THANKS!

Focus for Success
There are plenty of terrible news at this time. Not only are we still fighting two terrible wars, but the economic world as we have known for the last seventy years is collapsing under our feet. The bag only took a dive once largest since the Great Depression, and the plan Rescue of great hitting obstacles at every turn (I will not go into that here, but I assume that, please visit our blog at http://www.abundancebound.blogspot.com). So, given all these negative news, how are we supposed to do all the positive things necessary to move our financial security, and therefore, our career artistic forward?
The answer is our goal. Consider this for a minute: what you're spending your time thinking and focuses in? You may find it quite easy to spend every second of every day Thinking about the environment and the economy and the presidential race, and what your next hearing will be, and when his income is coming, and how you will find the money for tuition for their children, and so on and so forth ...
Except it is not healthy. Yes, there is much to worry about in the world today, but you have to ask is, how do you feel when you spent an hour (or two or three) to worry about all this? Are you-beat, and excited, and ready to go? Or do you feel depressed, and apathy, and desire curl up in front of bad soap operas (if otherwise) for the rest of the day? Conversely, how do you feel when you just met, and have finished a great book, we are doing very well in class? Ready to assume the world is the answer.
What has changed? The world is the same, all that is different is what part of it we are concentrating on, and that is the answer: what has changed is our focus and, from that, our mental state.
Now, I'm not saying to ignore the outside world: we are part of society, and are required (in my opinion) a good part of that. However, it must pass all day every day thinking of what goes wrong in the world. The Law of Attraction teaches us that we get more of what we think about. Therefore, if we insist in poverty and misery, is what really expect to have the joy and wealth coming into our lives?
The trick to this is what the motivation expert Brian Tracy calls the law of substitution. He says that the conscious mind can really have only one thought at a time, so that when a negative emotion or thought enters your mind, you can replace it instantly with something positive. Do this consistently, and is on track to achieve a positive overview of life. So next time you start to feel sad about you or your race, try to say "that thought is to try to fool me and make me unhappy ... "and then focuses on what you want your career to look like. When finances are getting you down, instead of looking at what possibilities exist in this climate current, and remember what Warren Buffet says - "Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful." Why is a good example? When everyone is panicked and out of markets, which just bought a piece of 6 billion U.S. dollars at Goldman Sachs ... talk to focus on the rise, even if it is 5 to 10 years in the making.
All this to say to choose your approach, not by chance on it. Consciously direct their attention things that support and benefit that most of the time, and watch the world around you aligns with your new thoughts ...
