Can you attend any college student (online, etc) and enter any graduate school?

I had a fight with a friend who could go to any graduate school after completing university studies in an online university, but I'm not sure if that is correct.

Is that in the sense that they are able to apply for admission to graduate school, then yes, if your undergraduate degree is from an accredited institution who can apply. If that application will be successful is a different matter. Educational institutions are not all (indeed, usually not) easy to get to. And unless you have graduated from something like the Open University in England then it is simply the case that online degrees are generally not regarded as highly as obtained in the brick and mortar institutions.
