The cost of going to college is greater than ever, causing many students to either postpone or remove their educational efforts in order to work to pay tuition. As the market work becomes increasingly competitive in times of economic crisis, many highly experienced professionals are returning to classrooms or school-based online to update or improve their skills.

Consequently, the stereotypical version of a university student - a recent graduate from high school 18 and 22 years enrolled in a degree program in four years - and not representative of most post-secondary students.
